PREPARATION AND STORAGE OF FISH & SEAFOOD

Your Shellfish should arrive live, remove them from their packaging. 

When receiving mussels, tap any open ones on a hard surface, any that remain open need to be discarded.  The ideal place to keep your Shellfish is in the bottom of the fridge, away from the motor, place them in a bowl and cover with a damp cloth.

We advise you NOT to place the Shellfish in water as they will die.

Use all Shellfish within 3 days of delivery

FISH

We will pack your fish to your own requirements

WHOLE FLAT FISH / PORTION SIZE

We will automatically remove the fins and gut the fish unless you inform us differently.  If you would like the skin, or the head removed just let us know and we will accomdate you.

 

FISH PORTION - SUPREME

Supremes are cut from large fillets, we will automatically scale and pin your suprme so it is ready for you to cook.

SCALED / SKINNED

The scales are automatically removed so the produce you receive is pan / oven ready - If you would rather have your fish skinned, then just let us know.

 

PIN / BONED

We aim to remove all bones from your fillet / portions, although we are unable to take responsibility for any bones found in fish.

We want you to receive a product that you are completely satisified with.  If you would like anything done with the preparation / packing of your fish, please let us know by phone or email.

Although, we try our hardest we can not guarantee that some of our fish may have small bones or traces of bones in them.
