MAPLE SYRUP MUFFINS

These muffins are easy to make and taste great. And without all of the refined white sugar, this dish is healthier than your average muffin recipe.

• 2 cups flour
• 4 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup maple syrup
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/4 cup butter, at room temperature

How to Cook:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Lightly grease the cups of a muffin pan

Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt

With an electric beater, beat egg until it is light and fluffy. Mix in wet ingredients and butter

Add dry ingredients to the egg mixture and pour into greased muffin tins

Bake for 20 minutes, or until tops are slightly golden brown
